4 Finn

Hello all!

Many of you know the story of little Finn for whom we've been asking for prayers. We love the Ague family like a second family. Their joys are our joys and their heartaches we share, too.

Here's a little information on sweet Finn. He was born at 37 weeks with multiple medical issues. He is currently a patient at CHOP Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, receiving care in their NICU. His condition changes daily. He has fluid in the ventricles of his brain, struggles with breathing, has experienced A-flutter and A-fib with his heart, his intestines curve the wrong way and will require surgery, possible blockage in his kidneys since they are currently enlarged, and possible genetic condition that they did test for and does have. Finnegan is a sweet, strong boy. He loves to cuddle, hold our hands, and pull at his wires. Now that his swelling is down, we can see his real features. He has dark blue eyes and dark hair. He looks like a wrinkly old man though :-)

So many of us have been praying for Baby Finnegan and we are so fortunate to see prayers being answered! We look forward to hearing the improvements in the health of this precious little baby as Erin and Kevin are able to update.

For us and for some of you as well, it's been somewhat a feeling of helplessness for the past few weeks wondering what and how we can best help Erin and Kevin while they are away from home, their daughter and are at CHOP with Finn.

We know that the Ague family is humbled by the love, prayers and gifts they've received. They have not requested help and are focused solely on Finn and Bridget and dreaming of life after hospital! ❤️ Rather, We have asked them to allow all of us to do this fund raising for them to meet any of the unexpected expenses that will arise. Truly, it's a relief that they've given all of us the go ahead. Needless to say, we love these kids and their kids!

Not knowing what and how many surgeries are ahead and with no exact timeline in sight for heading home, we've set up this fund so that any unanticipated expenses are covered. Thankfully, for now it appears that the major end of medical expenses will be covered. Also, just this week, Erin and Kevin are feeling very fortunate to have finally been able to obtain a room at nearby Ronald McDonalds house allowing them to be close to the hospital.

Thank you for considering a gift to go to this beautiful family. In their words, Kevin and Erin tell us ALL they need is our "love, prayers and positive vibes ". And that works, too!
