Help us get to Ohio!

Madi and I have been dealing with a pretty intense and sad family situation for several years. Unfortunately, it only continues to get worse. So we have made a bold decision to move from Oregon back to Ohio where I grew up. We are desperately in need of some peace and happiness and feel certain that some serious distance is just what we need. Madi has plans to go to college back east, so this will be perfect.
Most of you know that I have been a struggling single mama for 16 years, so financially this will be a very tough move. We will need money for gas, $500, motels will probably be another $500 and food to get us there, around $300. It is not an easy thing to ask folks for help, way more difficult than we had anticipated! We’re looking to leave the first week in May.
