Hi Family and friends,
just a little update on what’s been going on with me.
I’ve been in the hospital twice so far this year. The first time I had a lot of fluid on my abdomen which is being caused by Ovarian Cancer cells so I’ve had to go every 10 days to drain the fluid from my abdomen. The first time was 6 liters taken out. The second time was 5 .2 liters. For the last 5 days I have not been able to eat or drink and when I do, it just comes back up. I went in the hospital on 2-5-2018 and they are thinking I may have a blockage caused by a swollen lymph node which has a tumor or a hernia causing the issue. They are leaning towards the lymph node being the cause. They are going to try a few thing first before the decision is made to have surgery. It is a little set back, but hopefully nothing too bad. Last year I had to do some chemo which depleted my PTO time. Do to all that is happening, the medical bills are starting to pile up. I’ve been referred to MD Andersen in Houston Texas to see if I qualify for a clinical trial which I’m excited for, it of course involves some travel. If you can help us out we would greatly appreciate it.
