I'm excited to announce I have the opportunity to participate in Prestonwood Christian Academy's mission trip to Cuba for the fifth time. On the trip, we will spend a week serving various churches in Placetas, Cuba in mission work, manual labor, and mutual encouragement. For me, this trip holds a special place in my heart. Looking back, memories of Cuba shine brightly among some of the darkest times of my life. As a result, I jumped at the chance to be able to continue relationships I have built in Cuba and pour into the lives of students at Prestonwood like alumni poured into me. The cost of the trip is $3200, but I'm asking for $3800 to help finance personal expenses that are not included in the trip, such as clothes and various voluntary donations I wish to make. The $3200 dollars will go towards transportation and housing costs, as well as salaries for local interpreters, and church supplies. I would also like to request that the trip be kept in your prayers and thoughts even if you don't contribute. Safe travels and good health are always concerns, and prayers for the mission work we are doing would be appreciated. After the conclusion of the trip, I will attempt to send out an email detailing how we were able to serve on the trip, what I learned from it, and how I saw God move to everyone who donated. Every dollar contributed would help greatly! If anyone has any questions about any of this, shoot me an email at [email redacted],
and I'd love to talk more about this in person, via phone, or over email if possible.
