Save our dogs!

Tax deductible
The dedicated staff who work at Animal Lifeline are desperately appealing for your donations. Regardless of all the hate and vendettas against the rehoming team specifically, we would like you to put that aside for the rest of this story and soley think about the dogs in OUR care.  We are a charity who relies on donations from the public to keep the rescue centre open and with all the bad press we've received recently it has had a huge impact on the amount of donations we usually recieve and the number of volunteers that help us out. The charity incures huge daily costs such as;  Due to regular vet runs and dogs on life long medication we have a large outstanding bill, we have just recieved a second veterinary statement for just over £14,000.  We have dogs with serious conditions such as epilepsy, we spay and neuter all our dogs and keep them up to date with their yearly vaccinations, all of which are now being affected. Our utility bills including, electricity and water cost us daily to provide our dogs with the highest of care, giving them fresh water daily, cleaning their pens, washing and drying bedding and towels. Heating every single pen during the night to keep them warm.  Another cost is running the van which we rely on every single day to take dogs to the vets, drop of donations to our charity shop, pick up dogs food and alot more.  We would really appreciate any donations to help keep the dogs safe. It is absolutely hearbreaking for us all to come in every day and have to look the dogs in the eyes and not know what's going to happen. We try our very best despite everything going on to try and give them above and beyond but there is only so much we can physically do and its taking its toll on us. Its not us we care about, we are doing this for the dogs only, they can't stand up for themselves so WE are standing up for OUR dogs and we hope more than anything that you can help us.  As you can see we've set a goal of £20,000 which may seem a massive stretch and feels impossible to reach but the reality is that won't even cover a quater of the vet bill alone never mind any other costs but we have to try and start somewhere. However we will point out as its just been bought to our attention that the minimum donation that the go fund me website will allow is £5, which isnt our doing, this is applied by the website and we hope that isnt an issue for anyone donating. People have the assumptions that we are funded to keep the dogs in our care, however this is not at all true. We receive no funding from the council, government or any one else, we purely rely on donations.  Please help us to save our beloved dogs with a donation as little or large as you can, it all helps more than anything and we will be extremely greatful for every single donation. We love every dog so much, they're like our own pets and it's breaking our hearts to be in this situation. Thankyou for taking the time to read this, and we hope from the bottom of our hearts that you'll be willing to join us in our fight to speak up and stand up for these beautiful babies who only have us to help them!  From the all the heartbroken staff, dedicated volunteers and most importantly all the dogs at animal lifeline.
