2020 has been an AWFUL year for everyone - there are SO many amazing charities out there that have supported so many of us before, during and will continue to do so after this pandemic. There is one charity in particular that is close to my heart and that is St Michael’s Hospice in Basingstoke. 

In recent years three special life long friends (Russell Graves, Jon Smith and Jim Kroll) have received magnificent care - they offer a wonderful environment and I know that my three friends and their families had the best possible last few days together and for that I am very thankful - it is the very least they deserved. 

Now...you may have seen a recent advertisement about a “couch to 5k challenge”. That’s too easy!!!! And so is the “Run a Marathon in a month” challenge. I am going to run 50 MILES (yes...50 miles!!!!) in the month of January 2021. As an over weight, alcohol abused middle aged man I have decided to push myself to the limit. 

A sponsor towards my challenge would be greatly appreciated, small or large - every penny counts!
