Mama Sibs And Pups

For those of you who don't know "Mama Sibs", she is a stray who has been living in the bushes near Sibs restaurant, in St. Thomas, USVI for at least the last couple of months. I first saw her and started feeding her mid April and I know a lot of other amazing people have been leaving food for her as well. She was super skittish around people and wouldn't let you go near her until she had a litter of three pups around the first of June. Once she had her puppies, I was able to go down to her den, hand the puppies out one by one, and get her out of the den and into a crate with the help of some incredible ladies. She is now in foster with me and doing well. She's slowing learning how to be an indoor dog and accept love. Once the puppies are old enough I plan to send them to a rescue in the states to get their forever homes. Unfortunately Mama has a long road ahead of her still as she is heartworm positive and is missing all her front teeth. She will need to go through heartworm treatment as well as a procedure to remove the worn down tooth roots. The money I'm raising will go towards everything mom and pups need for health as well as funds to fly the pups off island once they are old enough.
