This fund has been set up by the children of Patricia "Pat" Young for her final arrangements. On Tuesday, June 20th, our mother passed away due to complications from a recent surgery. Her passing was sudden and unexpected.
For financial reasons she and our father had arranged for their bodies to be donated to the UMass medical school in Worcester when their lives ended. Unfortunately due to her recent surgery UMass is unable to honor that arrangement and our father and family are facing the costs associated with her passing.
Asking for help with this is not easy, and we only do so to give our mother a proper farewell, and those who loved her a chance to say goodbye. She was an amazing person who always thought of others before herself. Any help will be appreciated. And if any funds are collected that exceed the cost, those funds will be donated in her name to The Townsend Council on Aging.
