Hope For Hunter

" Brian and Shayna Rockhold recently moved into a new home with their 1 year old daughter Amberlin and was preparing for their newest addition. A baby boy, Hunter Reid Rockhold that is due on October 20th. Every doctor's appointment concluded that their baby boy was growing and developing at a normal rate until last week's appointment. The ultrasound revealed a strong beating heart and their sons little arms, legs, toes and fingers. But she had little to no amniotic fluid and was referred to a specialist. Last friday the specialist delivered devastating news. Potter's syndrome ( bilateral renal agenesis (BRA) ). A rare and fatal syndrome that affects 1 in 30,000 babies. Hunter did not develop his kidneys and therefore could not produce the amniotic fluid vital to development of the lungs. She faced a decision that no expecting mother should have to make. They told her that her precious son has 0% chance of survival after birth and offered to terminate the pregnancy.  Shayna  refused and is leaving it in Gods hands. She is 22 weeks along and most babies with Potters are born premature. It is very unlikely that he will survive more than 48 hours after delivery as their has only been one baby in the world to ever survive this type of Potters. But there was 1.  And if there was 1, there could be 2.  
   Shayna and Brian have an unshakable faith in God and know that miracles happen everyday. They will not give up on their son. She is asking for another referral tomorrow as we research everything possible. We are asking for donations to help with expenses in this journey. I'm afraid time is not on our side. If the outcome is not what we hope for the money will be used for a proper burial for baby Hunter. No donation is to small. Hold your babies tight and treasure every second. You only have today.
