Hello, my name is Jenele. I am the mother to 2 teenagers, ages 16 and 14. I recently got out of a toxic relationship of 15 years. In the past year, I have lost two of the most important people in my life. In May of 2024, we lost our grandfather, and about 90 days later, we lost my mom. Dealing with that pain and being in a terrible relationship led me to break away. I got a job and started grinding. Everything was smooth until the ex wanted his name off the hotel room. That's when stuff started getting hard. The room went up to $390.95 a week. Mind you, I don't make a lot of money. So now I work to make sure my kids have a place to live. About two weeks ago, I put in an application for an income-based apartment and got approved. We are in need of some assistance to come up with the moving-in fee. Rent is $925 and the deposit is $795. I work very hard but can't catch a break. Anything helps. we struggle i see alot of people make gofund me pages asking for help when they dont need it. I aint lying to yall I cant afford to pay my room every week plus come up with move in fees too. I dont want to be homeless with my kids in a state we dont know anyone in. We live out here by ourselves no family or friends. Just trying to make it one day at a time. ALL FUNDS GO TO ThE APARTMENT
