Help Super Jed Get His Groove Back

This Kool Kat right here is my sister's amazingly awesome husband Jed! Jed was involved in a Moped vs. mini van head on collision on Thursday June 15th 2017.The person in the mini van swerved completely into his lane making it impossible to react in enough time to avoid the collision. By the graces of God Jed kept to his own rule, "No helmet, no ride!" He put that helmet on as he left work and that piece of equipment is what hands down saved this mans life! He is here with us for another Father's Day shared with his 2 young sons Ryan and Jaxon! He is here with us for birthday's, Christmas's and more because he remembered to wear his helmet. That being said, Jed did sustain some pretty awful and very painful injuries to his leg. His femur bone in his thigh has been broken in 3 places, with most of the damage to his hip area when the bone was compacted up into the socket. He made it through a 3-4 hour successful surgery and is doing his best to get up moving and shaking again. He has rods and plates in his leg now to help mold the shape of what's left of his bone. The doctors have given him a 9-12 month recovery time, with many hours he will have to dedicate to relearning to walk again. Jed and his wife Jessica work very hard to provide a quality of life for their 2 boys. They've always been a 2 income household and now with Jed down for up to a year, the finical burden is left upon my sisters shoulders. She wishes she can be there every second of Jed's recovery but she knows her momma bear duties have more than doubled at this point. She is running on just minutes of sleep and one can only imagine the level of stress the both of them are under. Jessica has humbly asked me to create this GoFundMe campaign in the hopes that our amazing Aloha Fam and mainland Fam will reach out in this time of need and donate. Even if it's $1, no donation is too little. If there were ever a couple who deserves a little help, it's these 2 amazing souls right here (Jed & Jess!)
