Save Samlesbury's Roof

In 2025 Samlesbury Hall will turn 700 years old.  The Samlesbury Hall CharitableTrust will turn 100 in the same year.

In 1925 the Trust was formed to save the Hall from demolition, with the primary aim of keeping this beautiful building open for visitors to enjoy, which we have managed to do ever since.

Vital income from weddings, events, food & drink, waffles, generous donations and stays in our fabulous shepherd's hut hamlet all go towards maintaining the Hall and ensuring that we are able to open for free to the public... and we hope to do so for another good few hundred years!

Due to the global pandemic, we sadly have had months of vital income completely wiped out, which means our essential roof repairs will be massively delayed and we will struggle over the coming months.

If you wish to help with a little donation (or a big one!), your pennies will go a long way to help us make memories for the future and ensure that this fantastic building will stay alive.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to opening our doors again very soon!
