Family & Extended Family,
Kurt & I have set up this gofundme account in lieu of gifts hoping that your generosity can go towards our honeymoon and our ultimate goal of being debt free from our nuptials! With all the people we have been so blessed to have met and have grown to know and love throughout our courtship while servicing our community, putting on showcases, through our children we couldn't possibly share this moment with you all (as much as we would like to) as the affair would be too grand, too large and too expensive. As intimate as we can afford shout out to the justice of the peace!!! LOL We just know it would be disheartening for our family and extended family to not be a part of this blessed union and we wouldn't want to not share it with you. Kurt and I have truly been blessed and have been guided by amazing people of all walks who have cheered us on, who have prayed for us, who have shared encouraging words and testimonies with us and we have learned that there are people who may cheerfully want to help! Although at first I thought this idea was crazy as this is normally against anything we've ever done, we could just grind and slash the guest list a few more times (yikes) but after some thought and some convincing we thought asking for a hand, assistance never killed anybody. Also we would love to go on our dream honey moon to the Maldives Islands. This has been a dream of ours since 2008, that has been pushed aside as with all the hard work in the world as we are we couldn't see ourselves funding this fantasy vacation on our own considering our #1 priorities, our children. We understand how times are not the best for many of us although no donation is too small.
