Eva Malson's Pancreatic Cancer Battle

My Mom (Eva) was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on 7/03/2013. The diagnosis came as a shock just a week after we were on a Mother/Daughter trip. My Mom is 61 and is very active and had no risk factors prior to getting jaundice late June 2013. My Mom and family learned quickly that our lives are forever changed. With such an aggressive form of cancer we immediately looked into treatment options.

After receiving medical treatment recommendations from three prestigious places in Cleveland, Maryland and Illinois where it was confirmed that surgery is not an option. The cats-scans confirmed that my Mom is stage four. She has a 2cm tumor at the head of her pancreas and two small tumors in her liver. All three places offered chemo as the only option to extend her life by 2-4 months.


Since chemo has a low success rate with this type of cancer, our family is seeking alternative treatment options to battle this disease. My Mom's treatment plan consists of a healthy organic diet along with several different types of supplements needed to build her enzymes, immune stem and ph level to name a few. Alternative treatment is not covered by medical and is costing us on average between $ 2000-$2500 a month.


When I think of my Mom I see a giving person who always puts others before herself. She is a loving and dedicated Grandma-Mom-Wife-Sister-Friend-and Co-Worker to many. We are looking to raise enough money for the next year to give my Mom a fighting chance to battle this horrible disease. We love our Mom so much and thank you for your support!
