2013 Paratriathlon World Championships

I am competing in the Paratriathlon World Championships in London on September 13. I am getting excited AND nervous! Its funny how before my injury I was always a team sports athlete. And then the year of my injury, 2005, I got into triathlons. I was able to compete in one before becoming paralyzed and I was hooked. I even had my sights set on competing in the Hawaii Ironman someday. That's a whole other event though. This event will be tough as I am competing against the best female wheelies in my category in the world. I promise to do the best of my ability and we'll see what happens but definitely aiming high.
In creating this page I am looking for support in helping me fly to London, travel to and from airport once there, pay for hotel, get a London travel card for transportation, food, and maybe some sightseeing money. I was awarded some support from the USA for being on the National Team in which was greatly appreciated but definitely did not cover everything. I do thank-you each and every one of you in advance for your contribution and support in anyway possible even if just in prayer. Please check back in for updates before and after the trip and of course for a little something in the mail from me in the weeks after I get home.
