Hello,
My name is Andrew Tejada and I am a first generation college student in search for financial assistance towards my liberal arts college tuition. I was born and raised in San Francisco, CA and I am now an alumni of The Little School, Presidio Hill School, and Drew School. I am currently enrolled in Whittier College where I am pursuing a self designed Bachelor of Arts degree in Entertainment Management through the Whittier Scholars Program and a minor in Organizational Leadership. With this degree I intend on pursuing a career within the entertainment industry as a media and events producer. My interest in Early Childhood Development has also lead me to earn enough academic credits to be considered a qualified preschool teacher just after my second year of college attendance. I have also become highly involved on campus as I am now General Director of Quaker Campus Television, the Events Coordinator & President of the Franklin Society, a member of Media Council and the Whittier College Dance Team. In 2013 I was also awarded the Whittier College Emerging Leader honor award. In 2014 I was chosen to participate in the Whittier College President for a Day program. Needless to say the continuation of my education and college experience is deeply important to me, however due to financial hardships my enrollment at Whittier College for the coming semesters have been directly affected. As I'm covering tuition costs on my own all proceeds will go directly to my college tuition. Any amount of donations will be greatly appreciated!

NOTE: Whittier College tuition this year is $53,500 and after my financial grants & loans I still owe a remainder of $20,000 for the fall semester alone. I hope to raise as much as I can through gofundme.com, but I understand it is near to impossible to raise the full amount. I am doing what I can to earn money for tuition through other outlets, but the money I continue to receive from this profile with help significantly. Thank you.
