Jimmy Lee's Lymphoma Expenses

My dad Jimmy Lee found out in mid-May that he was battling triple hit stage 4 diffuse large B-cell non-Hodgkins lymphoma. The cancer has affected his bone marrow and central nervous system, as well as his right eye. He has been at MUSC in Charleston, SC for the last several weeks receiving treatment. His is an unprecedented case, even for the experts at MUSC, due to the rarity and aggression of his prognosis. For those that don't know my dad, he is a great man of God who has impacted the lives of many for God's Kingdom. He is an active member and deacon at the Florence Baptist Temple. He deeply loves his family (wife of 40 years, 3 daughters, and 6 grandchildren). He is a graduate of the Citadel, where he played football for the class of 1971. He is also a published poet and connoisseur of cheesy Dad jokes. He is truly a remarkable man. My sweet daddy is fighting for his life right now. At this point (6/14/17), he has been in the hospital for five weeks. He will likely need to stay in the hospital for at least a few more months until he is healthy enough to be discharged for outpatient treatments. As you all well know, hospital stays and treatments are very expensive. All of this in addition to our family needing to travel and stay out of town to be here with him have created a lot of unexpected expenses for our family.We understand that not everyone is in a position to be able to give financially, so we are asking first and foremost for prayer. We know that we serve a God who heals and hears the prayers of his people. We are confident that our God is bigger than this cancer, and that He can heal our sweet dad/husband/friend.
