Darrell Holden Medical Fund

Early Saturday morning on June 10th Darrell suffered a major stroke. This stroke has affected the entire right side of his body and left him without the ability to speak or swallow. He also has a large blood clot in his left carotid artery that is currently inoperable. Doctors said that they were surprised that he survived the severity of a stroke like this - which, I think, is a testament to the type of person that Darrell is - a fighter and someone who never gives up. Darrell is a husband and father to a beautiful family and has always prided himself on being the main provider. In addition to being a family man that others aspire to be, he is just a great person -a true friend to many and someone that would give his last dollar to a stranger in need. His wife, Aimee and kids Breanna and Jacob, are currently by his side helping him stay positive and cheering him on for a speedy recovery. But as with all good things, they will come to an end..... Eventually Aimee will have to go back to work, as her time off is limited and they will soon be down to a single family income. To make things even more difficult there is no timeframe on how soon Darrell will be released to go home. We are asking for you to help support The Holden's during this difficult time to help cover all costs that will come up in the near future. This will include medical costs not covered by insurance, travel expenses, food costs while away from home, and day to day expenses that will come up to help keep their household going.
