The Linda Simmons Memorial Fund is set up to assist Karl and children Gabriel & Abby, after the loss of their mother.

Linda Simmons, loving mother of Gabriel and Abigail, passed away Saturday, Aug 3, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born October 3, 1962, she lived in several different states from coast to coast. After meeting her husband, Karl, on a blind date in New York City, they married and settled in Sacramento.


Her spirit and dedication to others were demonstrated in her tireless advocacy and volunteer support for numerous Natomas community events and schools. In her careers in retail and bank management, she inspired those around her, encouraging co-workers, employees & customers alike, to exceed their limits and cultivated respect & positive energy at every opportunity.


Her 3-year battle with Inflammatory Breast Cancer led her to be a supporter and educator of others hit by this rare disease on numerous online network boards and participation in community events. She reached out to people across the world with messages of hope and assistance, encouraging them as they fought the battle.
