Help Bowie!

We got Bowie off craigslist for free about this time a year ago, and it has been the best year of our lives with our little man so far! After moving from Illinois to Colorado, we knew that we had to have a dog! After finding Bowie, we knew he was perfect for us. Bowie didn't always have an easy life though. When we got him he was skinny and had spent the first year of his life in a back yard with no attention. So needless to say, he was happy to have a loving new home! Bowie is usually such an outgoing friendly dog with more love to give than i think anyone knows how to take! This whole thing started with Bowie not eating. We realized that this was very unlike him since usually he is a vacuum. He stopped drinking any water as well and started to become lethargic and slow. We knew something was wrong and called the vet. They insisted we come in and they see him. The vet told us that he would need xrays to check for a blockage, and sure enough, he had ingested a rock that had made its way a foot into the small intestine. Without the surgery, they told us, Bowie would not have made it through the night. The option was clear: Save Bowie and sacrifice everything else! With bills upon bills and random financial situations, everyone knows life can be hard and stressful. We knew that we would take a hit financially but there wasn't an option, and we think any loving pet parent would agree. We made our goal 4,000 which is the total cost of the surgery after our 1,000 deposit. We don't expect a lot, but anything helps and would be greatly appreciated. Bowie is our pride and joy, please help us fund his surgery!
