Meet 6 year old Austin! He is a happy, active boy!
Austin has Non-Verbal Autism. We want to take family bike rides, but at the moment we're not able to. Austin outgrew the bike trailer we'd been using, and to be honest he would love to be able to be a part of the action. His big sister would like to ride her bike alongside him, too!
Since he isn't able to ride a bike independently, the solution is a tandem tricycle. As with all special needs items, a tandem tricycle comes with a steep price tag... and insurance doesn't cover this type of bike. Being the sensory-seeker he is, Austin loves motion and everyone agrees- he would really benefit from regular bike rides.
