Help For Ms. Ríos Medical Expenses

My name is Coyo Anhder and Miss Ríos has taught two of my sons in 4th grade. She has been teaching for 3 years at Las Animas Elementary School, in Gilroy, CA. Amelia is one of the sweetest and most dedicated teachers I know. She is kind, encouraging, loving, patient, and always has a smile on her face. She is also a daughter, a friend, a grand-daughter, an auntie, and an incredible human being! A few months ago, at only 27 years-old, Miss Ríos was suddenly diagnosed with acute kidney failure, where both her kidneys are failing completely and she has been doing dialysis ever since. Amelia needs a kidney transplant ASAP. When this happens, she will need help with her medical expenses. Even though her insurance covers part of her treatments and medications, these are still very expensive, and depending on when she gets the transplant, she won't be able to work. Her family isn't able to help much with all these extra expenses. Amelia is the only daughter of a hard-working single mom. I am setting this fundraiser for Miss Ríos in hopes that we can raise enough money so that she does't have to worry about paying medical bills, and instead in doing what she needs to do to get healthy again!
As I said, she is truly a good person and I would love if her friends, students' parents, and even strangers, can help her in this tough time.
Even sick, having to do dialysis daily -probably exhausted- she showed up at school every day, ready to teach with a smile on her face and a great attitude!
