<div>In short, last March Jeremy got diagnosed with multiple myeloma, which is a blood and bone marrow cancer that there is no cure for.

<div>Jeremy is a Australian musician who works extremely hard to get his music out into the world, while self funding his projects with his band and working very hard in his day to day job, he normally never hd a issue with money, but things have changed and he is officially struggling.

<div> He has mostly kept his cancer diagnosis to himself with the plan of fighting it without anyone knowing anything about it, however it has stopped him from working for almost 8 months and he he will probably not be able to work again for at least another 6 if he recovers quickly. The chemo alone has been super difficult to navigate as it wipes him out and has progressively made him weaker. A month ago he underwent a stem cell transplant which is a procedure that essentially buys him more time and gives him a chance to wait out some sort of cure or more treatments that can allow him to live a normal life but the financial strain has been huge and has wiped out all of his savings. He has been told by his doctors he is not allowed to work for a minimum of six month from now as he currently has no immune system due to the transplant but he is considering just getting back to work In order to be able to afford to live, however it’s very risky and no one wants him to get sick for money.

<div>I figured I’ll try crowd funding and see if we can raise the money this way so he doesn’t do something crazy like working and getting sick before he is better.

<div>Most of his friends have suggested gofundme for almost 7 months but Jeremy has been adamant that he didn’t want charity but at this point charity may be the thing that helps him get better by taking the pressure off him.

<div>After factoring cost of living and his current and upcoming hospital and medical bills we figure 30k would be the perfect number. If we get close that would be amazing but honesty even if we don’t get anywhere near that <span style="font-family:'-apple-system-body';">anything will help.</span>
