Help Give Ashley's Life Back To Her

My name is Ashley Vandiver. About 2 months ago I could stand and look you in the eye and leave a smile so impressionable as I shook your hand that you'd honestly never would forget me. Now, today I lay in a hospital bed looking up at the ceiling asking why me? I have progressively declined in more ways than 1, I lost feeling in my legs and became excruciatingly weak to the point of where I can't even walk or stand. I've began losing feeling in my arms and doing normal everyday chores and basic duties to live independently. Ive been in 4 hospitals in the last 2 months. From Lubbock, to Odessa, and now at Baylor in dallas. Every blood panel, every MRI, every scan all comes back inconclusive for something concrete and treatable. It's been variants of dermatomyositis, connective tissue diseases, myopathy, neurological disorders, even possibilities of metabolic disorders or something new that's never been seen before. Im a medical unicorn of the sorts just not the magical kind. They have me on immunosuppressive chemo, ivig, and strong doses of steroids in hopes to shut down my immune system so that I will not continue to deteriorate and atrophy. Plain and simple: I'm withering away to skin and bone. I'm still wondering in the dark striving to get my life back. I'm setting my pride aside and I'm asking for help. Help to get me to a better medical facility, help to try to cover some of these medical expenses, help for the sake of help. I've never been one to ask for anything in my life and this kills me now even attempting but I know being out of work and still deteriorating that I need it I wish I had a better story to tell one with a happy ending but for now this is the reality of it.
