New Milford Skatepark Rehab

Donation protected
In New Milford, CT, the skateboard community decided we wanted to expand on our terribly designed public skatepark. After a few years, hundreds of dollars in concrete, and countless hours of labor, we were finally starting to see our hard work pay off. Last week, the town locked up our skatepark due to excessive "vandalism". They plan to destroy all of our hard work and restore the park to its original, yet very poor, design. We skaters decided to use this as a learning experience, as we are now in contact with the town discussing a legitimate restoration of the park. A local skatepark builder agreed to come to our town and fully rehabilitate our park for only $5000. He will repair the existing park and also implement new structure to improve the overall layout. Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated. Help us make New Milford skatepark a place that the skate community can truly enjoy, as well as generations of skaters to follow.
UPDATE:
We met with the town and it looks like we've got the green light to fix up the park. We will be meeting with the town once more in a week or 2 to propose our design and budget. Once that happens, Dave and the skaters in town are going to work. We've raised our goal to $10,000 because now that we have the towns support we want to make this rehab as extensive as possible. The more money we have, the better the park becomes. Thank you for all your generous donations, you'll see it pay off shortly!!
