Ginger and David Erickson

Ginger and David have been longtime residents of Rawlins, WY for over 36 years where they have raised their daughter Andy and son Chris. Ginger has been an elementary teacher since 1993 and beloved by all of her co-workers as well as her students. David has had an excellent career in the judicial system as an attorney for many years and became a judge in 1988. Both of these wonderful people have loved and played so many helpful roles in their community. Although Ginger has been handicapped since she was a child, she has never let that or her pain stop her. David became her caregiver because......well that's just what partners do. Anyone who knows this family knows that they absolutely do what it takes to love and take care of each other and those around them. Both these wonderful people have faced some serious health issues as of late. Ginger has had many surgeries in the past and is supposed to undergo her next battle to amputate her femur. With this, David has just been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. This has been a devastating blow to the entire family. They are trying to come together and deal with everything one day at a time while trying to cope and grieve as a family.
