Rich Godfrey: Life After Stroke

My father, Rich Godfrey aka Daddy Rich aka D.R. recently suffered from a stroke. This stroke revealed a lot of underlying health issues which require long-term treatment and care. Unfortunately, under Georgia legislation he does not qualify for any healthcare coverage. We are pushing for disability coverage, but that can take up to a year for him to qualify. Without such coverage, the costs of his continued treatment is more than he can afford. Also, his stroke has left him with almost no mobility, leaving him unable to work. During this time, we are asking for any contributions to help in sustaining his health and financial needs. His monthly living and health expenses are around $2,500. Our target goal is $30,000 for the first year. For those of you who know Rich, know what a wonderful person he is, and how much he cares for others. We hope that you can help him in his time of need.
