Move Mountains For Julian

Donation protected
This fundraiser is to help with Julian's medial expenses, his parents time off of work, travel expenses and for Julian's care while he is fighting this battle to regain use of his arm.
Julian and his family need to be focusing on Julian-not if they can afford to stay with him at the hospital due to time off work, travel expenses, and all that life has thrown at them. Julian's family has stopped everything and put life on hold to surround Julian day and night with love, support and prayer, not once leaving his side.
With Julian's parents permission, I have created the GoFundMe page to help relieve some of the financial burden so they can focus on Julian getting the medical care and support that he needs.

On Mother's Day, Julian had an accident on his go kart and was air lifted by Med Center Air helicopter to CMC-Main's Level 1 Trauma Center. He underwent emergency surgery to repair an open fracture they had to call in the cardiovascular team because there is significant damage to the artery and they weren't able to locate a pulse beyond the site.
Julian was then sent to the pediatric progressive care unit at Levine Children's Hospital. He was slightly concussed, has bruised ribs and bruised internal organs. But the main thing is the arterial reconstruction they had to do. Once the pediatric orthopedic surgeon team had his bones reset and pinned in place, the vascular surgeons had to go in and do a dissection reconstruction of the main artery in his arm because there was no pulse or circulation past the fracture site.
Once Julian received the clear to go home, it was short lived. He was back en route to Levine Children's Hospital, taking a turn for the worse.
This was due to infection that settled into the injury. He was experiencing excruciating pain and swelling, unlike any he has had to this point thus far. This was a significant concern due to the arterial repair that took place, as he can not afford to lose any circulation or withstand restricted blood flow due to his injury.
On May 30, Julian underwent a surgery on to reassess the wound and see how much the wound vac is facilitating the healing process.
They also brought in plastic surgeons during Thursday's surgery for consult regarding the skin graft, and consulted with infectious disease regarding the status of the infection and corresponding treatment options. Julian had a rough time after surgery, becoming very ill through the night with blood pressure dropping.
On Friday, June 2nd, it was decided that Julian will be transferred to Duke Hospital. He will be transported from Charlotte to Duke by ambulance.
More updates to come.

"I am thankful for this journey, because even in the midst of suffering, His will is being done. We have been assigned this mountain to show others it is possible to be moved. I find joy in everyday, not because life is always good, but because God is, and He never leaves us nor forsakes us." - Christa, Julian's mom
