Our Warrior's Last Wish
On June 1, 2017 our family lost a great man. Antonio Coelho, husband, father, grandfather and friend left this world to find a final place to rest in peace. He is survived by wife Beatriz, daughters Graça, Bete and Ana as well as seven grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Our father's only wish was to return to his beloved country of Portugal. After surviving cancer 4 times, chemo and radiation, after being cleared by doctors to finally board the plane and fulfill his life long dream to live his golden years in the town that witness his birth, my father was ripped away from us. Instead of reuniting with family and friends that so anxiously awaited my parents return they will now be carrying my father's casket on their shoulders. A day of good news was followed by a week of sorrow, tears and broken hearts. At this time, after pulling all resources together my sister's and I still do not have enough to fulfill my father's last wish as well as help my mother through this most difficult time. I am turning to my family and friends with a humble heart with the hopes that you can find it in your heart to help bring our father home.
