Francis Gamilla's Medical Fund

After battling with heart disease for the latter part of his life, my father Francis decided to go back to the Philippines to spend time with my sisters, grandchildren, and siblings. Little did we know, he would suffer from a pulmonary infection. He was rushed to the emergency and after no sign of recovery was transferred to the ICU where he was given access to more advanced treatment.  He was then diagnosed with Pneumonia, Renal Parenchymal disease, kidney failure and Cardiomyopathy. A one night stay in the ICU, plus treatment, is about 100,000 Pesos, which is equivalent to about $2,400 CAD. He has been there for the last week now, but since we are unsure how much longer he is going to be there for, our family is trying to prepare both mentally and financially the best we can.
