Youth Ministry: Step 1

Hey!
My name is Caroline MacLagan. I am 19, and from little Leeds, Maine.
I graduated from high school in 2012 and started making plans to go to the nearby community college to major in early childhood edu., looking forward to someday being surrounded by precious 5 year olds, having way too much fun teaching some of their first classes of their lives. But before diving into all of this, I decided to take a gap year, making my goal for that year to go on a mission trip or two (which I was extremely blessed to accomplish with a trip to Haiti in April :).
During my gap year, God spoke to my heart, and changed up "my" plan, and is now showing me the first few pieces of His plan for me. Over the past 12 months He has tugged on my heart and given me a passion for youth ministry and missions and a longing to be involved.
Now it's time for me to take my first step of faith in His plan.
This first step will take place from October to December, in the small town of Windsor, Colorado at Ellerslie Missions Society. This is a big step because it will be my first time moving away from my family, but it's definitely a step I couldn't be more excited about!
At Ellerslie, I will be trained in the Word of God. I will be made stronger in my faith, encouraged to be bold and fearless, and become even more courageous and fully armed to be able to fight and not cower at the Darkness. And then, when God says that I'm ready, I will go where He leads next.
Right now, my heart is for teens who have not been as blessed as I have in my relationship with my Abba. For the teens who are searching for love, acceptance, fulfillment, and relief of pain but are constantly being left feeling rejected, alone, empty, and weighed down and weary. Those who are still in the dark, not knowing they can be made completely free in ways they don't even know they are enslaved.
The lost children of God are my goal.
I need roughly $3,500 to take this first step. $2,850 to pay for the rest of my tuition, and about $400 to get me to Colorado and back home at the end of my discipleship training. My first request is for prayer. Pray that I would continue to follow God and trust Him completely in His plan even though so much of it I am still unaware of. And then pray about how you can help me. Gifts of any size will be such a blessing that I know I could never thank you for enough. This is such a big deal to me and the words "thank you" simply are not sufficient. I hope you are able to help me in this and that you will be richly blessed back.
