The purpose of this fundraiser is to raise donations for our website!
No gift is too small or too large.
Washington DC is the second-largest theatre town in North America. Believe it or not, there are currently very few theatres in DC that exclusively reflect the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) experience.
The Rainbow Theatre Project is committed to be the premier theatre for the LGBT community in the Nation's Capital by presenting plays and musicals that express the unique experiences, interests and history of the LGBT community.
We are very excited about this new project but we need help to make it happen.
We are currently working on our first season of six concert readings. The readings will consist of classic plays from the LGBT canon each paired with a new work, in the form of a 10-minute play, to be read before each classic work.
Creating a website is critical for supporting our first season.
