My name is Joedi and this donation page is for my Very Good Friend April Whitehurst Elliott (32) She has been diagnosed with Stage II infiltrating ductal carcinoma. 6cm Stage III tumor (Very aggressive Breast Cancer) On August 19th, 2013, April underwent a grueling 7 hour double mastectomy and double latissimus dorsi flap reconstruction at the same time! WOW! She is also pregnant with high risk TWINS! Unreal, right? She started high dose AC chemo Nov. 20th and will continue until the babies are born. Then she is scheduled for radiation and hormonal therapy. The impact of your previous donations made so far has lifted many burdens off of her and the family.
