Family in need of help

Shawn has always been the provider for his family. He is a Dad of 3 kiddos who has worked very hard to provide a comfortable life for his family. Recently, Shawn was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, He was admitted into the hospital for 31 days and within that time he went from a hard core gym rat, working 60-70 hour work weeks to needing to have his colon removed. They transported him by ambulance to Foothills Hospital in Calgary to have immediate surgery to remove all of his colon and is now stuck in bed having to give up the life he knew to heal for many months of a long journey ahead. Along with this surgery he now has to pay for medical supplies, medications, medical equipment, specific dietary requirement groceries and his regular monthly household bills. Due to his insurance being maxed out because of the arthritis medications he takes everyday, all of his Ostomy medical expenses and supplies have to be out of pocket unfortunately.

We are hoping to reach out to all family and friends to help us get on our feet as we are unable to do this alone. Seeing Shawn with all of this added stress is taking a tole on him and we would just like to see him only concentrate on healing and getting back on his feet and not have the burden of any added stresses.
