Woodland Hills Community Church

Donation protected
On Monday night something devastating happened to our sweet neighborhood church. At least $30,000 worth of equipment and money was stolen and the building trashed.. Woodland Hills Community Church has been a vital part of our neighborhood since 1947. The church has a history of being all inclusive - any race, creed, orientation or station in life is welcomed. One of their first invited speakers in 1961 was Dr. Martin Luther King. Aside from projectors, screens, speakers and computers desperately needed for their music program, the thieves stole the church safe- a safe filled with gift cards for the needy. Gas cards so you could make it to work- a grocery card so you feed your family. This neighborhood gem is just filled with goodness and they have been dealt a mighty blow. When I personally was going through a rough time the onsite nursery school was an absolute sanctuary for me and my children. If you can please give any amount is gratefully accepted. And please share this post the more people who know the more likely they are to recoopetate!
