JEFF & boxer dog SHY. Help Fund Him

Jeff Nix saw an abused female brindle boxer on Craigslist up for sale. Her name is SHY and she's just skin and bones. Out of his own concern for her ( he's also a boxer owner himself ). He drove from his home in Oklahoma to Kansas to save her. He out of his own pocket paid her adoption fee from the people who has abused her. He has taken time off from work to make this trip. Yesterday while giving her a drink of water she slipped out of her dog collar and ran off into the woods. Jeff has been besides himself in worry. She took off and no where to be found. He spent most of last night hiking in woods to find her. He ended up covered in ticks by the time he stopped looking for her last night. Today he's found her but she's off in the distance and having been an abused dog is fearful to come to him or any human I would imagine. Now his wife is driving 5 hours up to meet with him and help him to retrieve SHY back again.Jeff has used his own money on gas, food, took off a day from work all to help save an abused dog. Now his wife is spending money on gas to drive 5 hours. Jeff has not asked for any money from anyone. Even offered up himself a $500 reward to help him catch her. I feel as boxer and dog lovers and seeing that kind humans do exist in this crazy world of today. We should all pull together to help Jeff with his expenses with this dog rescue of SHY.
