Deane Broussard Cancer Support

Our friend, Deane Broussard, has just been diagnosed with stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma on the tongue. MD Anderson is very optimistic about her recovery, as are we.

For the next 3-4 months, life will be turned upside down for the Broussard's. Deane will have to stay in Houston for daily treatment. Lodging, gas, co-pays, food, are all beginning to add up and will continue.

While long & short term disability were opted for, unfortunately, the time on her job isn't enough for this to be an option. In addition, she will need to keep her health insurance premiums current.

I'm starting this campaign to hopefully help ease some of the financial burden that goes along with a diagnosis like this. The last thing anyone needs, during a time as this, is to worry about money. We know that God is in control and thank everyone for the outpouring of love and continued prayers.
