Last night, my incredible mother lost her eight year battle with cancer, surrounded by her closest loved ones. She ws my hero, my best friend in the world, and an incredible mother. Words cannot express this heartbreak. She is now finally at peace and with her dad, and has left us with such wonderful memories and lessons in life that we will always cherish. I miss you so much Mom, I'm glad you don't have to fight cancer anymore.

My cousin, Kim, is living with metastatic breast cancer. While there is no cure, her quality of life can be improved. The family would like to explore alternative, holistic care and nutritional therapy to supplement her ongoing treatments. This type of care, in addition to the cost of fresh organic foods, and vitamins, is not covered by insurance and the out of pocket expense can be quite a financial stress.
Kim is a wife, mother of three lovely grown children, sister, daughter, and friend to many. She has always worked hard and even in the face of her own illness stepped up to help others when needed.
