I have known Sarah for several years as an employee of Garden State Koi. She has been a fantastic employee that always went above and beyond for our customers and her co-workers.  The fund we raise will be distributed to the girls to help with their immediate living and school needs.

The girls can use our support and help at this difficut time. Please share this request and donate if you can.
All funds collected will immeditely go to the girls to help them continue on without their Mom.

Here is a remebrence from the family's good friend Nancy Colgan:

Memories and Blessings, so many when I think, of the LaLumiere family,

I will always remember Pandy as a friend, co-teacher at church, and devoted mother of 3 amazing young ladies that I have had the privilege to know as students, FFA members, and friends. Pandy gave all of her time to her family. Pandy and I worked well together as Sunday School teachers. She knew the Bible and devoted herself to communicating the message with her students and her family. She spent time volunteering with FFA activities as she could; she drove many places, helped bake pies, and served as a judge for Orange County Fair career development events. My favorite memory of her is when she actually took a break long enough to go kayaking with me at Camp Oswegatchie. We spent quality time on Long Pond talking and sharing about her daughters and their many positive attributes and accomplishments.

Sarah continues to be a young woman who never ceases to amaze me with her determination and drive to succeed in life and make sure that those around her also meet with success. As a young girl, Sarah was a knowledgeable and thoughtful student in Sunday school. She let me know about her interest in agriculture and I invited her to participate in the dairy handling career development at the Orange County Fair. Sarah participated in many FFA activities that summer as a quiet, shy, and polite young lady. Then two of those qualities changed when she attended Camp Oswegatchie and was asked to participate in a skit for her campsite. She was asked to speak the line, "Hillshire Farms, Go Meat!" Which she belted out with amazing enthusiasm that almost knocked me off the log that I was sitting on to watch the show. Sarah continued to develop her talent in public speaking. She placed first at the New York State level in Prepared Public Speaking and placed bronze at the national level. Sarah served as both the Warwick Valley FFA President and Vice-President during her time in high school. Sarah competed on an Environmental Science team that placed second in the New York State FFA competition and earned the opportunity to participate in the Big E in Massachusetts.

Sarah and her sister, Marie, were both members of a team that placed first in the FFA Nursery, Landscape career development event at the New York State Fair. They went on to compete at the national level where they earned bronze medals as a team: Sarah placed silver as an individual. Marie served as President and Secretary of the Warwick Valley FFA and participated in many events as a member. Sarah and Marie's younger sister, Elizabeth LaLumiere, also served as a Warwick Valley FFA officer and active member as she had time and opportunity.
