My eagerness for this adventure is building as God is meeting all my needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus...
I believe while I am at YWAM I will be: thoroughly broken, challenged, and humbled ---only to be reconstructed as a fearless woman with fierce love and gentle compassion.
During the first 4 months, I will learn how to effectively communicate the Gospel of Jesus through my art. I hope to acquire skills that I can use to fuse my artistic talent with my passionate love for God's people so that I may inspire and encourage those who I encounter!
In the latter 4 months, my school will be split into groups spreading out in the 10-40 window, the poorest of the world. There we will draw and paint and exist with the hungry and homeless in some of the most hidden places on the earth. We will obsess over Jesus and enslave ourselves to the Isaiah 58 promise that " the glory of the Lord will protect [us] from behind. when [we] call, the Lord will answer. "˜Yes, I am here,' he will quickly reply." As we pray for eternal healing for the communities we join, we know God will listen intently to our requests and lavish his grace upon the impoverished people. I cannot wait to see Him 'do immeasurably more than we could ever ask or imagine!'
