I’m reaching out on behalf of my mom, Jill, my little sister, Sydney, and my stepdad, John. They have been at risk of homelessness for 7 months, living in a hotel searching for the next transition. Between COVID, health conditions, and job insecurity, they have struggled to maintain financial stability since 2020 and this is where they are now. John and Jill have been working on DoorDash to pay for their living expenses since November 2024. About a week ago, their radiator in their vehicle cracked. This was major, considering their car is the main tool they have to get out of homelessness and provide for themselves and my little sister.
