Hope for Holli

Donation protected

In 2015 my beautiful cousin Holli was first diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
The past year and a half of her life has been filled with chemotherapy, radiation, and several surgeries...

Last year our family got together and we were filled with joy..Holli told us her doctor had said her cancer was officially gone and she was in remission. Her hair had grown back, her spirit was great, and she had gone back to work. Our family felt like things had finally fallen into place and Holli was healed for good.

2 weeks ago, Holli called each of us to break the news that her cancer had returned....this time, it is stage 4 breast cancer. Her prognosis: 6 months- 1 year to live.

Stage 4 means that hercancer has spread to other areas of her body... And although Stage 4 breast cancer is considered incurable, current advances in research and medical technology mean that more and more women are living longer by treating the disease as a chronic condition.

With excellent care and support, as well as personal motivation, Stage 4 cancer may respond to a number of treatment options that can extend Holli's life for several years.

Holli is the most special woman in our family. She has the most beautiful soul and is the sweetest person. She is kind, optimistic, generous, and so loving to all of us. I don't think I have EVER heard her angry, or yell, or be anything but positive.
When her mother passed away, she took in her stepfather (Joe) who is disabled, and has not only held her full time job, but she has been his full time caretaker as well, alongside her husband Rob.
(All of this while also in her past cancer treatments!)

If you know Holli or have ever met her, you know that she deserves any chance we can find her, to be with us longer than her doctor has predicted. This world is better because of her and I am hoping to raise enough funds, to make HER world a better place.

With the funds from this campaign, Holli and her husband Rob are hoping to travel to several clinics around the country that specialize in cancer fighting for terminally ill patients, to prolong their lives.
Holli is also in discussions with Dana Farber Cancer Institute, in hopes to be a part of some clinical trials in Boston.

The goal I have set is $25,000. This is only 10% of what Holli would actually need to be able to attend one or more of these clinics, and unfortunately most of these clinics do not accept health insurance.

Any donation you can give would be the biggest blessing in Holli's life, and would not only give hope for her, but hope for our whole family.

Thank you!!!
