Anthony’s Medical Expenses

Hi, my name is Amber Anderson, and I’ve created this GoFundMe account to help raise funds for my brother, Anthony Anderson. Anthony is a 25 year old, goofy, fun-loving, athletic guy, and would literally give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He actually has requested that I not create this, because he hates asking people for help. Anthony has had Aortic Stenosis (a weak heart valve) since childhood. Recently he’s been diagnosed with something called Endocarditis. Somehow an infection got into his bloodstream, and because of his Aortic Stenosis, it easily worked it’s way into his heart. The doctor has informed us that if he doesn’t get Open Heart Surgery, he will die. Now he’s been faced with a decision that no 25 year old should have to go through. Anthony has to choose between replacing his current valve with a mechanical valve, or an artificial valve. They both have pros and cons, but neither of them will last a lifetime. This fund was created not only to cover medical expenses for his current procedure, but to help him with his future replacements and maintenance. Although we’ve told him to stop worrying about money, the fact of the matter is that it does rule the world, and at this point in time his biggest concern is not being able to pay his bills while he’s in the hospital and in remission. If you can find it in your heart to help fix his, my family will be forever grateful.
