Let's help Laura fight!

My mom has been given the news no one ever wants to receive. She has cancer. We know it is in 3 different places in her bone (one on skull and 2 on spine), but we just do not know the place of origin or how much it has spread throughout her body. For the first time in her life, she does not have health insurance when she needs it the most. My mom has been the rock to so many people in her life and has been the "go to" person any time someone needed help. This time she needs help from everyone. The next step in this process for her is to get a PET scan to help diagnose the primary source of her cancer so they can determine treatment. She has been approved to receive some financial help from the University of Colorado Hospital Cancer Center, but we are waiting for the doctors at the University to decide if they will take her as a patient. The financial help they provide, does not typically pay for PET scans, MRI's or CT's and these scans can be very expensive when paid for out of pocket. We are asking everyone for some financial help to get her the money to help fund these scans, and I am also asking for all your love, support and prayers during the next several months, until we can get some more answers.
