Struggling father

Hello my name is Jason and here is the story. I am a single father working 2 jobs. I have always tried to do my best for my kids and recently have run into some very difficult times. My 20 year old daughter who I have raised since she was 3 months old had always had struggles with her mental health over the years she constantly had battles with alcohol as well as self harm. I have tried my best to get her the needed help through her life.

This brings us to 2023 where things really started to go down a very dark path for her. From October until February she was hospitalized 4 times for severe self harm requiring many stitches. I was in a constant state of worry not sure if I would find my daughter on the floor one day. Between hospital stays and state of constant worry I had missed some work. February came with the 4th hospital visit and I was forced to give her an option seek treatment or she would have to find a place of her own as the mounting stress was having a bad effect on myself as well as her siblings.

Thankfully she chose treatment. She completed a 4 week stay in hospital and finally got a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder. She is doing wonderfully since being released from the hospital. She has not had a drop of alcohol and has signed up to finish her schooling which starts the middle of May. I'm so proud she has taken the steps to lead a better life.

That being said with all the struggles with her over the past 7 or 8 months plus the extreme costs of her medication now even with my 2 jobs I am struggling to pay bills and keep a roof over our heads. I have no words of how this pains me that after all her hard work I might be the one who fails. Thank you to anyone who helps with this cause.
