IGNITE Mission Trip

It is with great pleasure that I write to you today with what the Lord has placed firmly on my heart. I was first introduced to IGNITE this past May, when I flew out to Montana to see a very close friend. The Lord used my time with her and the people of Potter’s Field (www.pottersfield.org) to show me the abundance of mercy and grace He pours into the lives of those who love Him. I decided to apply this October and God-willing, will attend the January 2018 class. The IGNITE program is set up into four phases. In the first phase, I will be sent to a training center in Guatemala for three months of mission field work training. I will be trained and mentored by the leadership there which will prepare me with what I need for the months ahead. The second phase of the program will consist of my deployment to one of six international locations. Once at my designated location, I will spend the next six months serving the Lord and His people in any way needed. The third phase will consist of three-weeks re-entry in Montana, as I share my experiences with other interns who have also served. This will also give me the opportunity to adjust to the new life the Lord has blessed me with. The fourth and final phase will consist of me returning home where I will be a servant to my home church for the remaining two months. As I step out into this venture of faith, I am seeking guidance, preserving in preparation, and I am beginning the process of fundraising. As this will be a year-long missions trip, I am in need of funding to help me attend what the Lord has called me for. Though I have just over $2,000 of my own money put away, the entire cost of IGNITE is $6,000. If you feel the Lord has placed it on your heart to donate to my journey,  I greatly appreciate it. This opportunity the Lord has presented me with is exciting and I look forward to ultimately learning the true calling He has for my life while being a servant to His people.
