Deejay Karo Hit and Run Bike Accident

On Saturday night, July 27, 2013, Nathan Smith (aka Deejay Karo) was struck by a car while riding his bicycle home from work. The car then sped away. They broke his right collar bone and his left wrist, leaving both of his arms immobile. He will be out of work for the next couple of months, and has trouble with daily tasks such as dressing and feeding himself :-( Please donate to this online fund which will help him with medical bills, as well as living support while he's rehabilitating.

Nathan is a long-time New Orleans resident, deejay, visual artist and environmental/social and economic justice activist. He is soon turning 40 and now many of his ambitions for the future are on hold...but he hasn't given up hope! Your support will help Nathan with long-term medical care and physical therapy so he'll eventually be in tip-top shape.
