<div>After 26 years of successful trading on Whitstable Harbour, the Crab &amp; Winkle and Fish Market was destroyed in a fire on the 26th of May 2022 which was caused in an adjacent building via a third party. We lost everything, including eventually Peter's life, due to the stress.

<div>Our insurance company has refused to pay loss of income because we were told by our broker we could only insure based on the previous year’s income, which was a “COVID YEAR”, therefore we were underinsured and now need to start legal proceedings to get the business back trading.
