A Single mums fights for her life

Hey I’m Nicole, I’m a single mum, to my beautiful 2 year old, Summer Rae, and today is actually my 30th birthday.
I’ve been lucky enough to beat an aggressive form of bone cancer twice in my daughters life so far. Which I have previously done by the help of Go Fund me, sending myself to Beijing China for specialty treatment.
Having been back from China for 6 weeks, it was 5 nights before Christmas and I was laying in my bed watching a show, as Summer slept. In the blink of an eye, I had excruciating pain in my chest which wouldn’t stop.
I was rushed to hospital and with a heart attack ruled out, the Dr’s did a scan looking for a blood clot. The scan didn’t show a clot. The scan showed 2 tumours in my lungs. 1 in the lower left, the size of a blueberry and the second being 5cm, resting against my heart and major arteries.
After completing PET scans, I was informed that due to the positioning, the tumour is inoperable. With the nature of the type of cancer, it grows quickly and I am now classed as terminal.
I’ve taking the only option the dr’s had to try and extend some time, and started chemotherapy immediately. One thing I said I would never do again, but with being given only a month of quality time, I accepted to do anything for more time with my baby.
Fast forward 5 weeks, I’ve completed my first round of chemo and the tumour hasn’t started responding. The tumour is at 8.1cm and I’m terrified. I have been researching whenever I’m not with my daughter and determined to fight.
I have found an option on the Gold Coast with Dr Felix. I am waiting to see if I would be eligible to be treated by her. And in the past few months, there have been further developments overseas as treatment options.
But these options of life come at a cost. I need your help, anything you’re able to share from the generosity of your heart, I thank you. Anyone who can share our story, I thank you.
