3rd Grade CWS Farm Trip

Charlottesville Waldorf School's 2nd graders are raising money for their 3rd grade farming adventures! As part of the 3rd grade curriculum, the children learn about growing and cultivating food,  building homes, and food rhythms.  They experience the earth as a living, breathing being that supports all life.  Part of this learning includes time spent on a farm- taking care of animals, preparing food, entering into the rhythm of agricultural life and experiencing firsthand our connections to our food and the land around us. 

On April 27th, the 2nd grade will be holding a Jump-a-thon to raise money to support these farm activities. By donating to this campaign, you are pledging support of their great  jumping effort. Your support will pay for transportation, lodging and compensation for the children's farming activities. We are so very grateful for your support!
